Dogsled
The dogsled is manufactured from wood after centuries-old drawings and bound only with cords. Only the special dogsled construction of the Inuit guarantees that the material will bear up the extreme request on the way to the Gunnbjoerns Fjell. Two prototypes of dogsleds were tested during test trips around cape Tobin and cape Hope.

Dogs
Also with the dogs we attached importance to the fact that we have native animals for our dogsled. The dog breed has a long tradition at the east coast, the animals are much persevering and reliable. We selected on our two-week pre-expedition suitable dogs in Scoresbysund and bought them. They remain up to our arrival in the care of the breeder.

Food
We will nourish ourselves during the expedition with so-called " dry-food ", light and nutricious expedition food, which must pour only in hot water. That preserves our energy reserves, because each kilogram counts..

Clothing
With the clothing as with the other equipment, we, focus on High Tech materials. Tents, sleeping bags, stoves and our clothing correspond to the newest state of the art. During our pre-expedition we had considered to buy traditional Innuit jackets, but it turned out as quite heavy and rigid.
